Why restore?

Have you ever felt like the world was caving in all around you? Or perhaps you've felt as though the opinion of the world outweighs your own. Well, I'm here to tell it that it may be time for you to ask God to restore you. Restore you to the point in your life where you were closest to Him. Restore your soul and your belief in Him.

The definition of restoration is the act of restoring; renewal, revival, or reestablishment. A return of something to a former, original, normal, or unimpaired condition. Just because you want or need to be restored does not mean that you have fallen completely out of the grace of God. You could have simply been slightly swayed by things of the world. As a Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ, it is so very important for us to not allow what the media says, what society says or accepts as the norm, what friends may say or believe affect our belief in God and our obedience to Him.

" For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ" Titus 2:11-13

With all of the things going on in the world today, you need to draw as close to God as you can. Don't allow the ungodly ways of the world to rub off on you. The world belongs to the devil and he knows that his time is running out. There is coming a time where all will have to make that final decision~ God or the devil. Who will you choose?
